On Wednesday, January 29th, 2020, MAF member, Melissa Cole, spoke on behalf of the Matt Adams Foundation at the Project Right Choice ‘Substance Abuse Prevention and Awareness’ luncheon that was held at the Washington County Sheriff’s Department. She talked to over 75 attendees from the law enforcement and political community about the foundation and what we are doing to combat the opioid epidemic. She also handed out 2 dozen naloxone kits and have several requests for more. It was an excellent community event for bringing awareness and changing the stigma of opioid addiction <3.
