I want to take a moment and thank Drug Free Benton County and their choices campaign for having the Matt Adams Foundation out over the last two weeks in schools all through Benton County talking to kids. Together, the Matt Adams Foundation’s Brittany Adams-Kelly and Jordan Ellington along side former Arkansas Razorback and NFL Greenbay Packers football player Chuck Washington, got to speak to over 4,000 kids across Benton County. So many kids were touched by our stories that we have to share, and so many really heard us. They engaged in questioning us about what we do and why we do it. They told us their own stories.

These kids, kindergarten – 9th graders, are our next generation. THEY ARE OUR FUTURE. So many have already been affected by this epidemic and the numbers are growing. It is our job to step in and protect these children, to be their voices, to let them be heard. They are losing Parents, aunts and uncles, cousins, friends. No child should have to experience the amount of death that the kids today are experiencing. Lets all reach out and help our neighbors, friends and strangers alike. We have all been touched by this epidemic in one way or another. Lets be the change.

Thank you again Benton County for this amazing opportunity. We look forward to working with you in the future.

Thanks also to our amazing volunteers; Melissa Cole, Jordan Ellington and Andrea Jenette Herzberg – this week couldn’t have happened without y’all!
